To truly know me is to see that I am a humanitarian through and through. My name is Colette Winkler, and my personal principles and professional drive are centered around one of my strongest desires: to make a difference in my community and in the lives of people around the world.
I am currently preparing to graduate from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Public Relations and a minor in political science. to work with several nonprofits local to me. Working with these organizations that focus on hunger, women, and children has given me real life experience in working for community nonprofits.
My personal life revolves around my friends, coffee shops, animals, writing, politics, fashion, social justice, and the outdoors. A perfect afternoon would be connecting with interesting folks outside of a coffee shop while discussing the joys and problems of the world. Hopefully we can have a conversation as well!
